Nei test di Sepang di qualche giorno fa il vice-campione del mondo in carica era apparso lento e preoccupato per la situazione dei nuovi pneumatici. Oggi lunedì 3 marzo Jorge Lorenzo ha corso sul tracciato australiano di Phillip Island e la situazione si è completamente ribaltata. È ancora troppo presto per tirare le somme, sicuramente sull'ostico tracciato di Phillip Island Lorenzo ha trovato quel feeling in sella alla sua M1 che in Malesia non era riuscito ad avere. Buone notizie quindi per il maiorchino che dovrà restare concentrato e continuare a lavorare per ottenere i risultati che, da due volte campione del mondo, ci si aspetta da lui.
